Creating the Most Dangerous Intergalactic Steampunk Gate Design

Make the most dangerous complex looking intergalactic gate possible with multiple rings gears cogs pistons and every other mechanism made out of gold and jagged shards of obsidian with circuitry patterns on it. Have it be a portal to a universe of green galaxies nebulae and stars. Have it be a gothic and steampunk inspired structure floating freely in space in front of a white-grey nebula with green and black stars in it.
