DreamFace AI Live Avatar: Always-On AI Character Livestreaming

Today, we're introducing AI Live Avatar, a new feature that lets any AI-generated character host a live stream on its own. Once it's set up, your avatar can talk, react, and entertain a room of viewers continuously — without you behind the camera keeping it running.

It's the next step beyond finished video. Where our existing tools generate a clip and hand it back to you, AI Live Avatar keeps a character "on" indefinitely — greeting new viewers, cracking jokes, running games, and holding a room whether you're asleep, at work, or simply doing something else.

AI Live Avatar currently supports two formats, AI Talk Show and Interactive Fun Quizzes, with additional live formats planned for future release.

How AI Live Avatar Works

Setup runs through a short, guided process rather than a self-serve streaming dashboard:

• Choose the live experience to create — AI Talk Show or Interactive Fun Quizzes
• Leave an email address inside the app
• The DreamFace team configures the AI live room
• Once ready, the avatar begins hosting and interacting with viewers on its own

Because setup is guided rather than fully self-service, we're treating this release as an early, hands-on rollout — a way to get live rooms right before opening the format more broadly.

What You Can Build

A live room is really just a character with a live microphone — which means what people build inside one turns out to be much wider than a talk show or a quiz. Early creators have opened rooms for stand-up comedy, tarot and horoscope readings, guided meditation and daily motivation, a fan community built around an original character, and — more than once — a talking version of someone's cat.

One use case has stood apart from the rest: preserving someone meaningful. Creators are building live rooms around a grandparent's stories, a parent's voice, or a pet that's no longer around — using old photos, recordings, and memories to keep a version of them present and still telling their story on the days that matter.

Two formats are live today. AI Talk Show gives an avatar the host chair — sharing jokes, stories, opinions, and running commentary on a loop that doesn't need a script or a writers' room. Interactive Fun Quizzes turns viewers into participants rather than spectators, with the avatar running personality tests, trivia, and playful Q&A designed to keep a chat engaged.

Both are early entries in a broader roadmap. We're already building additional live formats, each meant to open up another shape a live room can take.

Part of Your Avatar Toolkit

AI Live Avatar joins the rest of the DreamFace toolkit built around a single avatar identity — talking-avatar and lip-sync video, motion transfer through DreamAct, Voice Studio's voice cloning and singing-voice conversion, and text-to-video and image-to-video generation. It's our first step from generating finished video into hosting continuous, live interaction, using the same character you've already built.

AI Live Avatar is rolling out through a guided, invite-based setup rather than a general release.
